IPC - Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner/Ontario | Home

Seems that we have an entire formal information request structure, government side, in canada. I knew we had privacy and information laws, I had no idea that we had a judicial body that took care of it.

This link comes from, what seems to me to be, a surprising source. Mohawk.

During one of my recent interactions with Mohawk, requesting information surrounding issues, etc. Just trying to really understand what happened; I was directed to this site, and told to get a formal request for information and submit it with a small fee ($5 CAD), for processing, etc.

I thought that this information may help a number of people, who many not know that they are able to get this type of information, by request.

Obviously the fees are small, so there's no reason not to....

Be well.
